The corporation announced on July 28 that it had implemented the "2026 Joint Aviation Safety Campaign for the Summer Season" to prevent safety accidents within the aircraft transit area and ensure flawless operations.
This campaign was held on July 27. Approximately 40 safety managers from the corporation, airlines, and handling companies participated, encouraging on-site workers.
Participants conducted field inspections, focusing on high-risk areas for accidents within the aircraft transit zone, such as runways, taxiways, and aprons. They carried out activities including the removal of abandoned equipment and foreign objects, monitoring maintenance standards, and cracking down on unsafe driving practices, which helped to enhance safety awareness on site.
In addition, measures were put in place to prevent heat-related illnesses among workers during the heatwave. "Mobile Safety Shelter" coffee trucks were stationed in the transit areas of Terminals 1 and 2, providing cold beverages and a recharging break for on-site employees.
