Strengthening a Sustainable Cooperation Framework
Gyeongbuk Technopark (President Ha Inseong, Gyeongbuk TP) hosted the "2026 Integrity and Human Rights Workshop" on July 24, 2026, at its main international conference room, as part of "Integrity & Human Rights Gyeongbuk Connection," a council formed by three invested and funded institutions in North Gyeongsang Province.
"Integrity & Human Rights Gyeongbuk Connection" is a council established and operated since 2024 by Gyeongbuk TP, Gyeongbuk Culture & Tourism Organization, and Gyeongbuk Development Corporation. It was created to continuously spread a culture of integrity and respect for human rights throughout North Gyeongsang Province and to strengthen cooperation among local institutions.
Under the theme of "Expanding the Culture of Integrity Through Leadership and Joint Institutional Efforts," the workshop brought together around 60 participants—including integrity instructors and those responsible for integrity and human rights from the three institutions—to foster dialogue and collaboration.
The workshop focused not on simple, lecture-based training but on participation and hands-on experiences.
Major programs included: ▲ viewing a jointly produced integrity video; ▲ a participatory training session titled "Integrity and Human Rights Playground"; and ▲ the discovery of each institution's own integrity and human rights slogans plus recommendations of relevant books.
In particular, in the "Integrity and Human Rights Playground" program led by a professional instructor, participants from the three institutions formed mixed teams to take part in team-based activities such as the Smart Golden Bell quiz and the Teamwork Challenge.
Through these activities, participants naturally learned standards for responding to integrity-related situations, while also strengthening their inter-institutional networks.
Additionally, attendees developed joint integrity slogans and shared book recommendations aimed at improving vacation, language, and work culture, thereby generating practical, action-oriented tasks.
The outcomes from this workshop will be used moving forward as part of joint programs led by "Integrity & Human Rights Gyeongbuk Connection," including integrity and human rights book events and slogan-sharing activities, in order to further their dissemination.
Ha Inseong, President of Gyeongbuk Technopark, stated, "Integrity is not achieved by systems alone; it begins with each public servant's right mindset, adherence to principles, and practical action. We will continue to create a field-oriented culture of integrity and human rights by sharing best practices and empathizing with and considering others’ perspectives."

He added, "Moving forward, we will further expand communication through the 'Integrity & Human Rights Gyeongbuk Connection' council and continue to lead initiatives focused on participation and practical action, taking the lead in spreading the integrity culture throughout North Gyeongsang Province."
