Samsung Electronics announced on the 27th that it has added the 'Samsung Wallet Hana Travelog Check Card' to Samsung Wallet in collaboration with Hana Card. When users pay overseas with Samsung Wallet after issuing the card, 10% of the transaction amount will be accumulated as Samsung Wallet Points.
The Samsung Wallet Travelog Card combines the payment convenience of Samsung Wallet with the travel-specific benefits of Hana Card’s existing Travelog Card. Even when overseas, users can enjoy transactions with free currency exchange applied if the card is registered in Samsung Wallet.

View original imageThis card offers the following benefits: free currency exchange (100% preferential exchange rate), exemption from overseas merchant usage fees, and waiver of overseas ATM withdrawal fees. In addition, when users make overseas offline payments using Samsung Wallet, 10% of the transaction amount is rewarded as 'Samsung Wallet Points.' These points accumulate with each payment and can be used at domestic on- and offline affiliated stores through the Samsung Wallet app.
The card can be applied for through the Samsung Wallet app. Once issued, users receive an automatic prompt to register the card easily and immediately within Samsung Wallet. There is no annual fee.
To celebrate the launch of the card, Samsung Electronics and Hana Card will hold promotional events. From August 1 to December 31, the maximum Samsung Wallet Points that can be accumulated will be increased from 10,000 to 20,000 points. Additionally, from August 1 to November 30, users who spend more than 200,000 won at overseas merchants will be eligible to enter a prize draw for items such as Galaxy Fold 8, Galaxy Watch 9, Galaxy Buds 4, airline tickets, and keycaps.
