"No More Missed Benefits Due to Lack of Information"... Ministry of Employment and Labor Publishes "Easy-to-Understand Youth Policy.zip"
The Ministry of Employment and Labor will publish a new guidebook titled "Easy-to-Understand Youth Policy.zip," which compiles key government support policies for young people in a single volume, making it easier for them to understand and apply for various initiatives.
On July 29, the Ministry announced that it would officially distribute a comprehensive guidebook containing essential job support programs and essential information for job seekers and young professionals, such as labor and occupational health and safety knowledge, work-life balance systems, Youth New Deal, and policies regarding housing, education, finance, and welfare.
The guidebook is organized so that users can easily search for policies by sector. Each policy includes a QR code that provides direct access to relevant websites, improving convenience so that young people can easily check the policies they need and proceed to apply.
The guidebook was developed with the participation of the social enterprise 'Sosohan Sotong' and the youth advisors of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, focusing on accessible language and user-friendly structure tailored to a youth perspective. 'Sosohan Sotong' is a social enterprise that creates easily understandable information for all, including vulnerable groups and individuals with disabilities.
The guidebook can be downloaded online from the Ministry of Employment and Labor's website, Goyong24, and Ontong Youth, and will also be made available at youth centers nationwide, public libraries, and study cafés such as 'Chosim,' which are popular among young people.
The Ministry expects that young people will naturally come across policy information and make use of it during the job search process.
