KB Financial Group Teams Up with Google Cloud to Drive AI Transformation
Utilizing Gemini to Develop AI Agent 'KB DAVIS'
KB Financial Group announced on July 28 that it is driving the group's artificial intelligence (AI) transformation through a strategic collaboration with Google Cloud.

View original imageThe two companies will combine the latest AI technologies with financial expertise to pioneer AI-driven work innovation, enhance customer financial experiences, enable data-based decision-making, and build an AI financial platform.
KB Financial Group has developed 'KB DAVIS', a data analysis AI agent for employees, by leveraging Gemini, Google Cloud's generative AI model.
Employees at KB Financial Group can ask KB DAVIS questions in everyday language to search for and analyze information such as work manuals, product data, and market information.
The company has also developed 'KB Star Byul-E', a conversational AI agent for customers. KB Star Byul-E is an AI program capable of providing consultations, including comparing financial products and offering personalized portfolio guidance. After completing internal testing, it will be gradually rolled out for customer use.
Looking ahead, the plan is to evolve the platform into a finance-specialized AI solution equipped with real-time interpretation in over 70 languages, as well as capabilities to provide information on finance, economics, and daily life, alongside understanding voice, image, and text queries holistically.
A KB Financial Group representative stated, "With this collaboration, we aim to transform AI from a simple work support tool into a core partner that shapes future-oriented, financial AI services."
