The popular Naver webtoon "Sangnamja" is being adapted into a series.
On July 28, Disney+ unveiled its casting lineup for the series, which includes Park Jungmin, Bae Sungwoo, Kim Jihyun, Jung Moonseong, Moon Sanghoon, Kim Min, Lee Jungeun, Kim Seolhyun, Kim Daemyung, Lee Sangyi, and Lee Kwangsoo.
The story centers around a man who, after relentlessly pursuing success and becoming the CEO of a major corporation, loses everything overnight. He then finds himself back in time as a new hire from twenty years ago, giving him a chance to reinvent his life. The original web novel was adapted into a webtoon in 2020 and has since exceeded 470 million views globally.
Park Jungmin plays the lead character Han Yoo-hyun, who ascends from an entry-level position to become the youngest CEO—before traveling back to the past. Bae Sungwoo takes on the role of Deputy Department Head Kim Hyun-min, known for his sharp insight. Kim Jihyun portrays perfectionist Manager Choi Minhee, Jung Moonseong is Deputy Manager Kim Young-gil who has an engineering background, Moon Sanghoon is Deputy Manager Park Seungwoo, Han Yoo-hyun's mentor, and Kim Min plays Lee Chan-ho, a highly passionate employee.
Lee Jungeun appears as Director Cho Chanyoung, a powerful figure within the organization. Kim Seolhyun will play her secretary, Lee Aerin, and Lee Kwangsoo will make a special appearance as Chairman Shin Kyung-soo. Kim Daemyung stars as Department Head Lee Kyunghoon, who is in conflict with Han Yoo-hyun, while Lee Sangyi plays Kwon Sejoong, Han Yoo-hyun's colleague who joined the company at the same time.
