Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Institute of Economic Science & Promotion announced that they are recruiting 10 companies to participate in the "2026 G-Bio Funding Lab" until August 14, in order to enhance the investment attraction competitiveness of promising bio startups in the province.
The "G-Bio Funding Lab" is a practical program established for the first time this year to support early-stage bio startups that possess outstanding technologies but face difficulties in developing business models and market strategies from the perspective of investors.
The program offers both specialized training reflecting the unique characteristics of the bioindustry and investment-linked activities, thereby enhancing companies' readiness for investment and supporting them to secure actual investments.
Eligible applicants include bio-technology startups and sole proprietors, as well as prospective founders, whose headquarters, branch, research institute, or factory is registered or will be registered in Gyeonggi Province, and whose establishment is within the last seven years.
