HLB Has Three Studies on Rivoceranib and Rilapugratinib Accepted for Presentation at ESMO
HLB's U.S. subsidiary, Elevar Therapeutics, announced on July 28 that three abstracts related to Rivoceranib and Rilapugratinib have been accepted for presentation at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026, scheduled for this October.
The ESMO Congress is a major oncology conference where cancer specialists from around the world and global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies share the latest clinical research results. Alongside the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), it is considered one of the top three oncology conferences worldwide. This year's congress will be held in Madrid, Spain, from October 23 to October 27.
Among the accepted studies, one is an investigator-initiated Phase 2 clinical trial of Rivoceranib in patients with metastatic thymic epithelial tumors who have previously received treatment. This study was selected for a rapid oral presentation session, a format reserved for research with significant academic and clinical impact, with only a limited number of studies chosen for this recognition.
A subgroup analysis from the global Phase 3 CARES-310 clinical trial of Rivoceranib in combination with Camrelizumab for patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (uHCC) will also be presented as a poster. This study evaluated the impact of early antibiotic use on the effectiveness of combination therapy.
The post-hoc analysis from the Phase 1/2 (ReFocus) clinical trial of Rilapugratinib has also been selected as an ePoster. This research analyzed the impact of previous immuno-oncology therapy experience on the risk of developing mucocutaneous adverse events (mcAEs).
