Director Lee Chang-dong's New Film "Possible Love" to Premiere on September 23
Theatrical Premiere Before Netflix Release on November 6
Starring Jeon Do-yeon, Sol Kyung-gu, Zo In-sung, and Jo Yeo-jeong
Director Lee Chang-dong's new film, "Possible Love," his first in eight years, will be released in theaters across Korea on September 23.
On July 28, Netflix announced that the film will first premiere in theaters before launching on its streaming service on November 6.
The story follows two couples—a laid-off worker and his wife, and a documentary director and her husband—who come together to make a documentary, confronting each other's contrasting lives and desires. The cast includes Jeon Do-yeon, Sol Kyung-gu, Zo In-sung, and Jo Yeo-jeong. The film has been invited to the Competition section of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival and the Special Presentations section of the 51st Toronto International Film Festival.
