HLB to Present Rivoceranib and Lirafugratinib Research at European Oncology Congress
HLB will present three research abstracts related to Rivoceranib and Lirafugratinib, developed by its U.S. subsidiary Elevar Therapeutics, at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026 this October.
According to HLB, the ESMO Congress is a renowned global oncology conference where oncology experts and global pharmaceutical and biotech companies exchange the latest clinical research achievements. Along with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), ESMO is considered one of the world's top three oncology meetings. This year’s congress will take place in Madrid, Spain, from October 23 to 27.
The results of an investigator-initiated phase 2 clinical trial of Rivoceranib in patients with metastatic thymic epithelial tumors who have previously received treatment have been selected for a Rapid Oral Presentation session. This format is reserved for studies with high academic significance and clinical impact, and only a select few are chosen. In addition, a subgroup analysis of the global phase 3 clinical trial (CARES-310) of Rivoceranib in combination with Camrelizumab for patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (uHCC) will be presented as a poster. This study evaluated the impact of early antibiotic use on the efficacy of the combination therapy.
The post-hoc analysis of the phase 1/2 (ReFocus) clinical trial of Lirafugratinib has also been accepted as an ePoster. This research analyzed how prior treatment with immune checkpoint inhibitors affects the risk of developing mucocutaneous adverse events (mcAEs).
