[Today's New Release] Bigger Size, 980 Won Price... Lotte Mart and Supermarket Renew 'Oneuljoheun Tofu, Bean Sprouts'
Expansion of Fresh PB Ingredients at Lotte Mart and Supermarket
Private Brand Products under 1,000 Won Now Available
Lotte Mart and Supermarket announced on the 28th that they have launched two new private brand (PB) products priced under 1,000 won.
The new products are 'Oneuljoheun The Bigger Tofu (400g)' and 'Oneuljoheun The More Bean Sprouts (400g)'. These renewed products are upgraded versions of the PB bestsellers 'Oneuljoheun Tofu (300g)' and 'Oneuljoheun Bean Sprouts (300g)', offering increased size and enhanced price competitiveness, with both being sold at 980 won.
The previous tofu and bean sprouts were launched at 1,000 won each in April last year. From their launch through June this year, the combined cumulative sales volume at both Mart and Supermarket reached approximately 2.4 million units. During this period, tofu ranked third in sales within its category, while bean sprouts topped the category, demonstrating their product competitiveness.

As a result, the size increased by approximately 33%, and the price per 100g dropped by about 26%.
Additionally, for the tofu, a detailed sample test was conducted by comparing key quality factors such as protein and soybean solids content among leading brands in the market, existing PB items, and new candidate products, to achieve optimal quality. The bean sprouts were cultivated without growth accelerators and underwent a double washing process with clean water before packaging, reducing the need for further preparation at home.
Lotte Mart and Supermarket are expanding PB products priced under 1,000 won, focusing on everyday food ingredients. Previously, in June, they launched 'Oneuljoheun Mung Bean Sprouts (380g)' at 980 won and 'Oneuljoheun Silken Tofu (350g)' at 680 won.
Leveraging their integrated purchasing capabilities and PB development know-how, Lotte Mart and Supermarket plan to continue introducing high-quality, ultra-low-priced products exclusive to Lotte Mart.
