Promotional Activities at the 13th Asia Cruise Forum Jeju
Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority announced on July 28 that it attended the 13th Asia Cruise Forum Jeju (2026 Asia Cruise Forum Jeju), which was held at Jeju International Convention Center from July 23 to July 25, promoting the competitiveness of Yeosu Port to global cruise lines and travel agencies through various marketing initiatives.
This Asia Cruise Forum Jeju was jointly hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. The event brought together over 700 participants, including domestic and international cruise experts, officials from cruise lines, academia, and the tourism industry, from 15 countries worldwide.

View original imageDuring the forum, the authority operated a promotional booth in cooperation with related agencies of Yeosu Port, highlighting the port’s infrastructure capable of accommodating 170,000-ton class large cruise ships and over 150 tour buses, its strategic location that enables visitors to experience various tourism resources in Jeonnam region including Yeosu itself, and the convenience of KTX access within a five-minute walk from the terminal—promoting these as key strengths of Yeosu as a cruise stopover.
Additionally, during the forum, the authority participated in the Taiwan Port Sales event organized by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, conducting B2B marketing targeting Taiwanese cruise officials in an effort to create new cruise port call demand at Yeosu Port.
