NVIDIA Launches Global AI Security Alliance... Naver and SK Telecom Also Join
Nvidia has launched a global alliance aimed at building an open artificial intelligence (AI) security ecosystem. Global companies such as Microsoft and Intel, along with Korean firms including Naver and SK Telecom, are participating in the alliance.
According to Yonhap News Agency on July 27, Nvidia announced the launch of the "Open Secure AI Alliance" to enhance AI safety and cybersecurity on this day. The Open Secure AI Alliance is a consortium established to jointly develop and share open technologies and security tools that protect software and agents in the AI era. As security threats increase with the proliferation of AI, this move is seen as Nvidia's effort to secure leadership across the broader AI ecosystem, extending beyond just AI semiconductors.
Through the alliance, Nvidia plans to offer open AI models, model weights, data, and new agent harness research. Nvidia also released "NOOA," an open-source research project supporting the testing, tracking, and auditing of AI agent behaviors, via GitHub.
