"Seeking Old Gaya Tumuli Memory Photos"

The National Gaya Cultural Heritage Research Institute will hold a photo contest from August 3 to September 1 to collect citizens' memories related to the Gaya Tumuli Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The theme is personal photos depicting memories connected to the Gaya Tumuli Complex, taken between the 1800s and 1999. Anyone who has memories from any of the seven tumuli sites that make up the complex (Daeseong-dong in Gimhae, Mari Mountain in Haman, Okjeon in Hapcheon, Jisan-dong in Goryeong, Songhak-dong in Goseong, Yugok-ri and Durak-ri in Namwon, and Gyodong and Songhyeon-dong in Changnyeong) is eligible to participate. Each person may submit up to two photos.

First, five entries will be selected through an evaluation by experts, and then a public preference survey will determine the final rankings. The results will be announced on November 6. The winners will receive gift certificates worth 300,000 won for first place, 100,000 won for second place, 50,000 won for third place, 30,000 won for fourth place, and 20,000 won for fifth place.
