Lotte Homeshopping Expands Belligom IP with Customization Collaboration with Uniqlo
Customize T-shirts and Bags with 35 Belligom Designs
On July 27, Lotte Homeshopping announced that it will present 35 Belligom designs through the customization service 'UTme!' in collaboration with Uniqlo, allowing customers to create customized products with their preferred designs.
Belligom is a character developed in-house by Lotte Homeshopping in 2018. The lineup of designs being introduced at Uniqlo includes signature Belligom styles such as 'Signature Belligom' and 'Health Belligom,' as well as summer season-exclusive 3D designs like 'Surfing Belligom' and 'Swimming Belligom,' realistic Belligom images, and local-limited designs that reflect the unique features of each store location, for a total of 35 types. Customers can select their preferred Belligom design and create personalized goods such as T-shirts and bags at the store in about 15 minutes.
This service will be available at six Uniqlo stores nationwide that operate the UTme! offering, including Lotte World Mall Jamsil, Myeongdong, Dongseongno in Daegu, Dunsan in Daejeon, Samjung Tower in Busan, and Seogwipo in Jeju, until July next year. Additionally, some locations will provide special experiences for customers by installing Belligom sculptures and photo zones decorated with themed wrapping.

Within two weeks of sales, the demand had outstripped the supply. Last month, a three-piece set of Belligom shopping bags, which was pre-launched, sold out 250,000 sets within a week of its release at directly operated stores. Thanks to the expansion of such collaborations with offline distribution channels, Belligom merchandise sales in the first half of this year increased by 30% compared to the same period last year.
