A man who was about to get married won a large sum of 2 billion won with a scratch-off lottery ticket he bought after greeting his girlfriend's parents. He said he plans to use the prize money for wedding expenses.

With the 15,000 won in cash he had at hand, Mr. A bought Lotto and Speetto 2000 tickets. He explained, "For the Speetto scratch ticket, I scratched it and checked for a win right there in the store. To my surprise, I had actually won 2 billion won." It is reported that Mr. A was so stunned by his unexpected windfall that he could not speak for a while. He said, "Both my girlfriend and I were completely shocked and unable to say anything. We quietly left the store, walked for a while, and went to a deserted area to check again if it was real. But we still couldn’t believe it."
