RaonPeople Turns to Operating and Net Profit Surplus in Q2
RaonPeople has turned to profit in both operating income and net profit in the second quarter of this year.
On July 27, RaonPeople announced through a public filing that, on a standalone basis, its operating profit was 300 million won and net profit was 1.07 billion won, marking a return to profitability.
RaonPeople stated, "With both operating profit and net profit in the black, we have entered a clear trajectory of performance improvement. Our goal is to establish a profitable business structure through a strategy that prioritizes internal stability, and to scale up sales in the second half of the year."
This turnaround in performance is the result of ongoing efforts to restructure the company for greater efficiency—encompassing the optimization of overall cost and expense structure, a strategic focus on high-profit businesses, and the streamlining of organizational operations.
New orders in the first half of the year reached 10 billion won, up approximately 85% from 5.4 billion won in the same period last year, which is expected to accelerate the improvement in performance in the second half as this trend contributes to greater business stability going forward.
In the generative artificial intelligence (AI) sector, RaonPeople is targeting the public and enterprise markets with its AI agent solution 'Hypen', its manufacturing equipment data analysis solution 'Hypen Nexus', and its AI video surveillance solution 'OdinAI'. In the global golf business segment, the company is expanding the supply of its AI-powered golf sensor 'VTrack' and the training package 'SwingEZ' to overseas markets such as North America, Canada, and Australia.
