The next generation of promising players to lead Korean golf has emerged.
The 43rd Korea Junior Golf Championship, Blueone Cup, which was co-hosted by Blueone and the Korea Golf Association (KGA) and held at Blueone Yongin Country Club in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province for three days starting on July 22, concluded successfully.
In this tournament, in the under-18 division, Hyukjun Kim (Seoul Automotive High School, 2nd year) won the boys' title, while Arin Moon (Daekyung Arts High School, 2nd year) won the girls’ title. In the under-15 division, Jiyul Chun (Shinseong Middle School, 3rd year) won the boys’ title, and Yeseo Kang (Haksan Girls' Middle School, 2nd year) took first place among the girls. In the under-12 division, Chanwoo Park (Daejeon Jangdae Elementary School, 6th grade) and Miju Kim (Seulgi Elementary School, 6th grade) each raised the championship trophy for the boys’ and girls’ categories, respectively.

The Korea Junior Golf Championship was established in 1983. It is the Korea Golf Association's national title event, held annually to improve the abilities of junior golfers in Korea and identify and nurture outstanding talent. Over the past four decades, champions have included Jiyai Shin, Hyojoo Kim, Siwoo Kim, Sungjae Im, Jeongeun Lee6, and Hyejin Choi, among others.
