After launching its first outlet in southern Vietnam at Phan Xich Long, a prominent F&B (food and beverage) district in Phu Nhuan, Ho Chi Minh City, in May, BBQ has opened the BBQ Midukjeom and BBQ Thai Hoc branches within just about two months, expanding to a total of three branches in Ho Chi Minh City.
The company explained that this expansion will further strengthen connections with local customers, covering upper-middle-class residential areas and large apartment complex commercial zones in the north, while encompassing key consumption districts in the south such as Phan Xich Long, Phu My Hung New City, and Nguyen Thai Hoc Street.
The BBQ Green Star branch is located at the center of a living area that blends upper-middle-class residential districts with commercial facilities. Boasting a spacious front plaza and excellent accessibility, it is well-positioned to attract both families and local residents.
Phu My Hung New City, home to BBQ's second Ho Chi Minh branch, is known as a representative planned city and international residential area in Ho Chi Minh City. It features a high concentration of foreign residents and affluent consumers, establishing itself as a prime district for stable dining demand.
BBQ Thai Hoc, the group's third Ho Chi Minh branch, is situated near Ben Thanh Market and the backpacker district in District 1. Located in the city’s tourism and commercial center, which draws a large floating population of domestic and international tourists as well as local office workers, it is a strategic site for attracting a diverse range of consumers.
The newly opened branches offer a variety of menu items, including Golden Fried Chicken (Korean-style fried chicken), Secret Sauce Chicken (seasoned chicken), and the Southeast Asia-exclusive UFO Chicken, as well as a range of K-food dishes such as tteokbokki, japchae, and kimchi fried rice, alongside pizza, chicken burgers, salads, and more.
