Hanwha General Insurance and KWEA to Support Women-Led Businesses and Foster Femtech Industry
Hanwha General Insurance announced on the 27th that it signed a 'Financial Business Agreement for the Activation of Women's Economy and Femtech Industry' with the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association (KWEA) at its headquarters in Yeouido on the 24th.

View original imageThe agreement signing ceremony was attended by Na Chaebum, CEO of Hanwha General Insurance, Park Changsook, President of KWEA, and other key executives and staff from both organizations. Based on this agreement, the two parties plan to offer multifaceted support to help grow women-led businesses, expand the foundation of the femtech industry, and secure sustainable growth engines.
To this end, Hanwha General Insurance will support the discovery and incubation of promising domestic femtech companies, as well as assist their entry into global markets.
The company will also provide financial programs to create a more stable management environment for women-led businesses. In particular, it will develop and sell customized insurance products tailored for female customers, and promote the establishment of funds to revitalize the femtech industry.
Additionally, Hanwha General Insurance plans to offer educational and networking programs to strengthen the capacities of female entrepreneurs, as well as detail wellness initiatives to improve women's health and quality of life.
