Eastar Jet to Launch Daegu-Zhangjiajie Service on September 1, Marking Its First Daegu Route
Eastar Jet announced on July 27 that it will begin operating the Daegu-Zhangjiajie route starting September 1. This will be Eastar Jet’s first route departing from Daegu.
The Daegu-Zhangjiajie route by Eastar Jet will operate twice a week, every Tuesday and Friday. The outbound flight will depart from Daegu International Airport at 11:15 a.m. and arrive at Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport at 1:35 p.m. The return flight will depart from Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport at 2:35 p.m. and arrive at Daegu International Airport at 6:35 p.m.
This new route follows Eastar Jet’s acquisition in April of international air transport rights for 11 routes to China from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. As part of this, Daegu was allocated routes to Zhangjiajie and Shanghai.
Eastar Jet will operate the Daegu-Zhangjiajie route from September 1 to October 23, aligning with the peak travel season for the route, and plans to launch the Daegu-Shanghai route during next year’s summer season as well.
