President Jae-myung Lee departed for his second destination, Brazil, on July 25th (local time) after completing his visit to San Francisco, United States.
Upon arriving in the United States the previous day, President Lee stayed in San Francisco for two days and one night, where he attended the "AI Summit" event involving global big tech companies and worked to strengthen cooperation between Korean and American firms in cutting-edge industries.

View original imageBased on these activities, the Office of the President announced that Korean companies and global big tech firms had agreed to pursue partnerships in the semiconductor sector worth a total of $950 billion (approximately KRW 1,375 trillion).
He concluded his schedule in the U.S. after attending a dinner with global corporate leaders such as Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, and participating in a networking event with Silicon Valley startups.
In South America, President Lee will sequentially visit Brazil, Chile, and Argentina, aiming to strengthen cooperation related to key minerals and supply chains. From July 26th to 29th, he will pay a state visit to Brazil at the invitation of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, attending a Korea-Brazil summit and a business roundtable event.
