The police have launched efforts to detain a man who attacked a high school girl with a weapon in the residential area of Hwagok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
According to police on the 25th, Gangseo Police Station in Seoul applied for an arrest warrant the previous day for a teenage male, referred to as A, on charges of attempted murder.
A is accused of attacking a high school girl with a weapon in a multi-unit residential area in Hwagok-dong at around 1:26 p.m. on the 23rd.
The victim, who suffered abdominal injuries, was transported to the hospital for treatment and remains conscious.
It has been reported that A and the victim knew each other.
