Samsung Heavy Industries Posts Q2 Sales of 3.2 Trillion Won, Up 20% Year-on-Year
First-half sales exceed 6 trillion won
Samsung Heavy Industries announced on July 24 that its consolidated sales for the second quarter of this year reached 3.2307 trillion won, with operating profit of 325 billion won.

According to preliminary results, sales for the first half of the year stood at 6.133 trillion won and operating profit at 598.1 billion won, marking an increase of 19% and 82% respectively compared to the first half of last year. Annual sales for this year are forecasted to reach 12.8 trillion won.
As of July 2026, Samsung Heavy Industries has achieved new orders worth 10 billion USD, and its shipbuilding division has reached 98% of its annual target. Additional orders are also anticipated, mainly for LNG carriers.
