Kyobo Lifeplanet Launches "AI Insurance Secretary" ... Curation Service
Communicate With Four Customer Persona Types
Receive Personalized Coverage Information
Integrated Into “Barunplan” Coverage Analysis
Helps Prevent Unnecessary Premium Payments
Kyobo Lifeplanet Insurance announced on July 24th that it has officially launched "Insurance Secretary," a personalized insurance curation service that combines customer coverage data with lifestyle information.
The Insurance Secretary service was designed to lower perceived barriers and entry obstacles for customers who find it difficult to independently select and enroll in digital insurance without the help of an agent. It is a digital insurance guidance service that helps customers understand their coverage structure and make optimal decisions on their own, without sales pitches or commission burdens. By comprehensively analyzing lifestyle data—including age, occupation, family, and personal habits—the service points out current coverage gaps and highlights reasons why additional protection may be necessary, all in a simple and accessible way.
One of its key strengths is the provision of four customized customer persona types to match individual preferences. Customers can choose between: ▲ Insurance Expert ▲ Warm Insurance Secretary ▲ Future Me ▲ Professional Facts Teller. Without the need to interact with employees approaching for sales purposes or learn difficult industry jargon, customers can communicate with a persona suited to them and receive tailored information.
This new service is integrated into Kyobo Lifeplanet’s flagship coverage analysis tool, "Barunplan." With a cumulative total of 5.15 million uses, Barunplan has helped customers analyze their existing insurance products, recommend a portfolio that minimizes duplicate coverage and unnecessary expenses, and reduce insurance premiums.
While the existing Barunplan service focuses on diagnosing and identifying unnecessary spending through coverage analysis, the Insurance Secretary provides actionable guidance on why current protection is lacking and ways to address those gaps. Customers can reduce search costs without the need to review complex policy terms or visit multiple comparison sites. At the same time, they can select optimized insurance products without agent commissions, preventing unnecessary premium payments.
