KB Kookmin Bank announced on July 24 that it held an experiential event called 'Golden Life Day' on July 22, where senior customers could experience both safety and financial services.
The event took place at Jongno Pyeongchang County in Jongno-gu, Seoul, which is operated by KB Golden Life Care, a subsidiary of KB Life. This event was organized based on the business agreement signed last April with Safeware, a smart safety solutions company.
By integrating Safeware’s smart safety technology, which has received the CES Innovation Award and government certification for its wearable airbag technology, into KB Golden Life’s care service, KB Kookmin Bank introduced a new life care model that combines finance and age-tech. This approach is designed to meet both the safety and financial needs of senior customers.
The event was attended by residents of Jongno Pyeongchang County and senior customers from nearby areas. A variety of programs were offered, including a fall prevention safety experience using wearable airbags, asset management consultations from KB Gold & Wise Private Bankers, and expert consultations on inheritance and gifts.
KB Kookmin Bank plans to continuously expand life care services for senior customers by linking senior housing operated by KB Golden Life Care, KB Golden Life Centers, and KB Life Age-Tech Labs with group infrastructure.
