KT to Transform Work Practices with AI... Hosts 'AID-X Demo Day'
KT announced on the 24th that it held the 'AID-X Demo Day' event at the KT Pangyo Building in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, with participation from the IT division and the IT-specialized group company KT DS.
AID-X is a business framework developed by KT to internalize AI across the entire scope of IT work, expanding upon the existing AI-based development framework, AIDD. KT has established a system that applies AI not merely as a work support tool, but throughout the entire lifecycle of development projects, and has transformed its working methods accordingly.

During the event, various cases were presented where AI was used to improve both actual productivity and quality of work. Of particular note were examples where AI independently performed repetitive analysis and development tasks carried out by developers, as well as cases where analysis, modeling, and data linkage were automated to enhance work efficiency.
The exhibition area also unveiled a range of next-generation AX technologies, including AID-X-based development governance and core technologies. A representative case highlighted the development process of humanoid physical AI based on K RaaS. On site, a demonstration was conducted showing a humanoid understanding natural language commands, recognizing its environment and objects, and then picking up and moving objects to desired locations.
Additionally, the event revealed an AI-powered platform that allows applications to be tested from the customer’s perspective across a variety of devices and app/operating system (OS) environments. This platform uses AI to perceive the mobile interface like a real user, understand app functions, design test scenarios, and conduct tests autonomously.
A case was also presented in which AI was used to solve real work-related inconveniences. KT explained that by analyzing shuttle bus operation data for the Pangyo office, they optimized routes, demonstrating that even non-developer staff members can utilize AI based on natural language to improve their work.

Kyunghwa Ok, CIO and Executive Vice President of KT’s IT Division, stated, "AI is not a technology that replaces people, but a collaborative partner that expands human capabilities.
