Korbit Launches 'AI Agent Trading' with ChatGPT and Claude Integration
Korbit has introduced an installable program called "Korbit CLI" that allows users to execute tasks ranging from checking market prices to placing orders with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) agents.
According to Korbit on the 24th, users can make natural language requests to AI agents such as ChatGPT Codex and Claude Code to check cryptocurrency prices and balances, as well as to carry out key Korbit functions including placing orders and handling deposits and withdrawals.
With a single line of command, the installation configures both the MCP (Model Context Protocol) server and agent skills required to connect with AI agents. This enables the AI agent to understand and execute Korbit's features in response to the user's requests, without the need to set up a separate, complex development environment.
A simulation environment is also provided, allowing users to test automated trading programs and interact with AI agents without using real accounts or assets. Users can safely verify an entire program's operation by testing order placement, trade execution, and balance changes in the same way as with Korbit's open API.
"Korbit TUI," tailored for developers who prefer working in a terminal environment, is also included in Korbit CLI. Users can view real-time market data, order books, and candlestick charts in the terminal window, as well as access major exchange functions such as placing orders and managing deposits and withdrawals.
