High School Girl Attacked with Weapon in Seoul Residential Area... Teenager Arrested for Attempted Murder
Sustained Abdominal Stab Wound, But Condition Not Life-Threatening
A teenage male was apprehended by police after attacking a high school girl with a weapon in a residential area of Gangseo District, Seoul.
On July 23, Gangseo Police Station in Seoul announced that they had arrested the teenage suspect, referred to as A, at the scene on charges of attempted murder.
According to police, at around 1:27 p.m. that day, A allegedly stabbed a female high school student, referred to as B, with a weapon in an alleyway in a residential area of Hwagok-dong, Gangseo District.
B sustained an abdominal wound and was transported to the hospital, where it was determined that her life is not in danger.
It was reported that A and B were previously acquainted.
