GC Green Cross Medical Foundation Holds Welcoming Ceremony for Lee Jong-wook Fellowship Program Expert Course
10 Healthcare Professionals and Experts from 8 Countries Participate
GC Green Cross Medical Foundation announced on July 23 that it held a welcoming ceremony on July 14 for the second year of the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH) '2025-2027 Lee Jong-wook Fellowship Program, Advanced Training Course for Infectious Disease Experts.'

View original imageGC Green Cross Medical Foundation has formed a consortium with Korea University and has been jointly running this program since last year through 2027, taking charge of the advanced disease diagnosis and research modules.
This seven-week training program includes 10 healthcare professionals and infectious disease response experts selected from a total of eight partner countries: Ghana, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Tanzania, Cambodia, and Fiji. The trainees will visit major infectious disease response and research institutions in Korea to learn about Korea's infectious disease management system and diagnostic technologies firsthand.
