The company recently secured the Kakao Pangyo Agit project and, beginning with Raemian Bless Teige, has entered the premium breakfast apartment service market in the Gangnam area of Seoul, expanding the number of wellness channels to four. In the military catering sector, it is currently operating 14 military food service sites nationwide, including those for the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, and has newly secured the contract for the Army Infantry School.
The concession business also saw a 21.8% year-on-year increase in sales, driven by a recovery in overseas travel demand and increased leisure and recreational activities. In particular, usage of the Sky Hub Lounge at Incheon International Airport rose by 47.9% year-on-year, reflecting a sharp rise in demand for airport lounge services. The company has also secured new contracts for food and beverage operations at golf clubs, including Seoul Hanyang Country Club, and has obtained a new contract to operate the lounge at Gimpo Airport, scheduled to open this September.
Pulmuone Food & Culture is accelerating its expansion into overseas markets. Starting in the second half of this year with business sites of Korean companies in North America, the company plans to expand business opportunities to local universities and international schools, gradually establishing a foundation for growth as a global food service company.
In Korea, the company plans to launch a new restaurant brand specializing in kalguksu noodle dishes this September.
