Chairman Shin Dong-bin Sells 42.3 Billion Won Worth of Lotte Shopping Shares to Secure Liquidity
Shin Dong-bin, Chairman of Lotte, is selling 324,100 shares (1.15%) of Lotte Shopping that he currently holds in order to secure cash liquidity.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on July 22, Chairman Shin announced that he plans to sell 324,100 common shares of Lotte Shopping.
The planned transaction period is from August 21 for 29 days, and the sale will be conducted on the open market. Based on the closing price as of July 21, the total value of shares to be sold amounts to approximately 42.3 billion won.
Chairman Shin previously held a 10.23% stake in Lotte Shopping, and if this planned sale is completed, his stake will decrease to 9.08%.
Chairman Shin stated that the reason for this share sale is to "secure liquidity."
