At approximately 12:50 p.m. on July 22, a fatal accident occurred at an auto parts manufacturing plant in Poseung-eup, Pyeongtaek City, Gyeonggi Province, when a worker in his twenties was caught in a machine while inspecting equipment.
According to the company, Mr. A, who belonged to another machinery maintenance company, was inspecting the plant's parts processing equipment when the machinery suddenly started operating, leading to the accident.
Mr. A was transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest, but ultimately passed away.
