"Football Matches Now Free to Watch" ... Changwon FC Implements Full Free Admission for Home Games
Kang Kiyoon: "The Citizens Are the True Owners of Changwon FC
We Will Build a Club Where Everyone Belongs"
Football fans have received exciting news: free spectator admission is being offered.
Starting with the home match against Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors N at 7:00 p.m. on July 26 at the Changwon Football Center, Changwon FC will implement a full free admission policy for all home games.
This policy aims to create an environment where any citizen can visit the stadium and enjoy football without financial burden, while also enhancing the public value and accessibility of the club as a community team for local citizens.
By removing the need to purchase tickets, the club intends to make it easier for various groups—including families, young people, and youth football fans—to attend matches.
Kang Kiyoon, Chairman of Changwon FC, stated, "The true owners of Changwon FC are the citizens of Changwon," adding, "Through the full free admission policy for home games, we hope many more citizens visit the stadium, share the excitement on the field with our players, and experience the inspiration and joy that football can deliver."
He continued, "We will continue to expand a variety of fan engagement programs and services so that Changwon FC can become a true community club embedded in the daily lives of citizens. We hope many citizens will come to the stadium and offer enthusiastic support and encouragement to our players."
Along with the full free admission to home games, Changwon FC plans to continue running a variety of in-stadium and out-of-stadium events and fan participation programs for those attending the matches. The goal is to transform home games into more than just 90 minutes of football viewing, instead making them a healthy leisure culture and community festival where local residents can enjoy and connect with one another.
