This Policy Empathy Talk, the second event following those in Seoun-myeon and Gongdo-eup on the 20th, was attended by more than 150 people, including local residents, heads of organizations and social groups, and students from Samjuk Elementary School.
Notably, students from Samjuk Elementary School actively participated in the event by presenting their perspectives on the development of both their school and the wider community. They proposed practical improvements closely related to daily life, such as the construction of an athletics track in the schoolyard and the installation of a speed enforcement camera in front of the school.
Anseong City plans to actively review feasible measures for the students' suggestions in cooperation with the Office of Education and other relevant agencies.
On the same day, Mayor Bora Kim outlined the policy direction and major initiatives of the ninth popularly elected administration, and exchanged views with residents on local issues through an open question-and-answer session.
