Korean Epson Launches EB-L270F Commercial Laser Projector
5,200-Lumen Entry-Level Full HD
Up to Three Times Brighter Colors Than Competitors
For Screen Golf, Education, and Corporate Use
On July 22, Korean Epson announced the launch of its new 5,200-lumen (lm) entry-level Full HD laser projector, the 'EB-L270F', aimed at meeting the rising demand for high-brightness projectors in commercial markets such as screen golf, education, and corporate sectors.
The new EB-L270F is a 5,200lm Full HD laser projector that enhances the existing EB-L260F product line. By applying a laser light source, it reduces maintenance burden while delivering vivid image quality and stable performance.
Recently, there has been growing demand for brighter and clearer projection in locations such as screen golf venues, educational institutions, and corporate meeting rooms. In particular, in larger spaces or environments with ambient lighting, the brightness of the projector is cited as a key factor determining user experience. In response to these market needs, Epson has expanded its line of 5,000lm-class Full HD laser projectors by adding the new 5,200lm model to the existing 4,500lm model, thereby broadening customer choice.
The EB-L270F offers optimal image quality tailored to a range of industry environments. In the screen golf market, it enhances immersion by naturally reproducing green and blue colors similar to those of an actual field. For education, it vividly delivers the color information of audiovisual materials such as photos, videos, and charts to enhance learning outcomes. In corporate settings, it clearly projects charts and graphs without distortion, supporting more efficient communication.

Color brightness is a key measure of a projector's true color performance. Thanks to Epson's 3LCD technology, the projector achieves equal brightness for both white and color, ensuring vivid and accurate images even in well-lit environments without any color degradation.
According to actual CLO measurements, the EB-L270F supports color brightness equivalent to its white light output at 5,200lm. In contrast, certain competitors' models may offer white brightness above 5,000lm but only deliver color brightness at about 30 to 35 percent of the white level; as a result, differences in color reproduction and image clarity can arise in real-world usage.
This high color performance is based on Epson's proprietary 3LCD technology. Compared to competing products, 3LCD technology provides up to three times higher color brightness and up to three times wider color gamut, delivering outstanding color representation. Leveraging this unique technological edge, Epson has maintained the No. 1 global market share in projector sales for 25 consecutive years.
