Maeil Dairies has launched its 'K-Wellness' product line at Olive Young's Pasadena store and Olive Young's U.S. online mall as part of its efforts to enter the U.S. market.
On July 22, Maeil Dairies announced that it is introducing three varieties of its low-sugar, high-protein 'Maeil Soymilk', two kinds of the 'Picnic' beverage, and three types of 'Selecs Milcera Collagen' to the U.S. market.
The products, now available at Olive Young in the U.S., have been curated as a lineup that spans both K-Food and inner beauty, in line with the growing interest in K-Beauty expanding into the 'K-Wellness' trend.
Maeil Soymilk, the No.1 low-sugar soymilk brand in Korea and now celebrating its tenth anniversary, is targeting American consumers who prefer vegan and plant-based diets. The lineup includes 'Maeil Soymilk 99.9 Plain', 'Maeil Soymilk High-Protein Plain', and 'Maeil Soymilk Black Soybean'.
Maeil Dairies expects that its soymilk, which features a high content of soymilk extract, a low-sugar formula, and rich plant-based protein, will attract U.S. consumers who prioritize ingredient transparency, as 'Clean Label' has become a major trend in the country.
