CX I’s Largest Shareholder Injects 30 Billion Won: Strengthening Responsible Management Through Additional Share Purchases Following Capital Increase
CX I is once again emphasizing its commitment to maintaining its listing by having its largest shareholder make consecutive capital injections. In addition to participating in a paid-in capital increase, the company plans to further boost corporate value and restore shareholder trust by pursuing on-market share purchases.
According to the KOSDAQ-listed company, its largest shareholder and CEO, Lin Jinsheng, is demonstrating his commitment to responsible management by participating in a large-scale paid-in capital increase and purchasing shares on the market.
According to a disclosure on the 21st, CX I will conduct a third-party allocation paid-in capital increase worth 48 billion won. Of this, CEO Lin plans to invest 19.2 billion won, receiving an allocation of 3.2 million shares. As a result, Lin's ownership stake is expected to rise from 27.93% to 36.45%. The scheduled payment date is August 28.
CEO Lin will not stop at participating in the capital increase; he is also proceeding with on-market share purchases. From October 8 to November 6, Lin plans to gradually purchase 700,000 shares—equivalent to 4.2% of the total issued shares—on the market. The expected total purchase amount is approximately 760 million won.
The company explained that consecutive capital injections by the largest shareholder are a decision both to respond to strengthened listing maintenance requirements and to practice responsible management and enhance corporate value. CX I also intends to proactively work toward restoring shareholder trust through these actions.
In March and June of this year, CEO Lin also participated in capital increases, investing approximately 10.7 billion won in the company. Including the current 19.2 billion won paid-in capital increase and the planned on-market purchases, the cumulative capital input by the largest shareholder amounts to around 30 billion won.
A company representative stated, "CX I and its largest shareholder plan to continue pursuing various strategies to ensure a stable basis for maintaining the listing and to protect shareholder value," adding, "We will focus our capabilities on enhancing competitiveness in our existing businesses, discovering new growth engines, and launching new ventures to fundamentally boost the company's intrinsic corporate value."
