Lee to Preside Over Real Estate Policy Debate on July 23
140 Participants Including Government Officials, Experts, and Citizens
Influencers and Real Estate Community Leaders Also Invited
President Lee Jaemyung will preside over the "National Real Estate Policy Debate" on July 23. President Lee will listen to the opinions of not only government officials and experts, but also YouTubers and operators of online communities for mothers.
The event will feature discussions among 140 participants representing the government, experts, and the public. The 75 representatives of the public will be composed of industry and association figures, influencers and operators of real estate and mothers' online communities, certified real estate agents, and members of civic and youth organizations.
Specifically, participants include Choi Youngmin, the operator of the YouTube channel "The Pilot Explains Investment" with 1.29 million subscribers; Chae Sangwook, the operator of the YouTube channel "Chaebusim" with 290,000 subscribers; and Kwon Gihyun, director at the Urban Development Research Institute.
Other announced participants include Jang Miyeong, head of Real Estate 114 OK Certified Real Estate Office; Lee Hyewon, head of Mr. Homes Seongdong-Kumho Center Certified Real Estate Office; and Kim Heejun, head of Segi Certified Real Estate Office.
Also attending will be Kim Hyundong, executive committee member at the Center for Fiscal and Tax Reform at People’s Solidarity for Participatory Democracy; Choi Haeun, activist at the Min Snail Union; and Jo Jeongheun, chair of the Land and Housing Committee at the Citizens’ Coalition for Economic Justice.
In addition, 29 ordinary citizens who previously submitted their opinions on the National Opinion Gathering website and expressed their intention to participate have been added to the list of participants.
The group of experts will include a total of 30 people, such as professors, researchers, market experts, and journalists. From the government, 35 officials will be present, including Prime Minister Han Seongsuk and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Koo Yooncheol.

The event will last a total of 100 minutes. The Ministry of Economy and Finance will present the results of prior opinion gathering, followed by presentations from experts in the supply, finance, and tax sectors. The content of real estate debates hosted by various government departments between July 14 and 16 will also be shared. Afterwards, a free discussion and closing remarks by the President will conclude the event.
