On July 23, under the theme “Strengthening ASEAN through Education,” the ASEAN+3 Education Ministers’ Meeting and the East Asia Summit Education Ministers’ Meeting will take place. Minister Choi plans to introduce major educational policies at both meetings, including: the regional talent development system (Anchor), fostering flagship national universities, the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) program for government-invited international students, support programs for leading universities in international cooperation, and initiatives to support the assessment of basic academic abilities in Southeast Asia.
