A fire broke out at Hanyang Apartment in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, forcing about 20 residents to evacuate.
According to the Gangnam Fire Station in Seoul, at around 10:27 a.m. on July 21, a fire broke out at Hanyang Apartment, prompting about 20 residents to evacuate to a nearby senior citizens' center. There were no reported casualties. The fire authorities deployed 133 personnel and 36 pieces of equipment, and brought the fire under control by around 10:49 a.m. The fire reportedly started on the fifth floor of the apartment building.
