Samsung Securities Offers 1 Share of a Leading Stock or KRW 20,000 in Support for New Domestic Stock Investors
Samsung Securities announced on July 21 that it will be holding a welcome event for new customers starting domestic stock investments until July 31.
The event is open to customers who opened their very first domestic stock non-face-to-face account with Samsung Securities between June 15 and July 31, 2026. Customers who open a non-face-to-face comprehensive account during this period and apply for the event will be eligible for benefits.
The first 20,000 participating customers will randomly receive either one share of an industry-leading stock—Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor Company, or Doosan Enerbility—or KRW 20,000 in investment support funds that can be used for domestic stock trading. The support funds can be used for domestic stock investments and must be utilized within five business days from the date of issuance. Any unused funds will be automatically withdrawn.
In addition, Samsung Securities is also running an event offering preferential online trading commission rates for non-face-to-face new and dormant customers. For a comprehensive non-face-to-face account opened for the first time during the event period, a preferential commission rate of 0.0036396% will be applied for three months, followed by a rate of 0.015% thereafter.
