LX Hausys Wins Energy Winner Award for "Solar Control Advertising Film"
"Expected to Be Applied to Buildings and Distribution Stores"
LX Hausys announced on July 21 that its "solar control advertising film" received the "Energy Saving Award" at the 29th Energy Winner Awards this year.
The "Energy Winner Award," established in 1997, is an annual program that selects and honors technologies and products with outstanding energy efficiency and excellent energy-saving effects. This year's awards were organized by the Consumers Union of Korea and sponsored by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment, as well as the Korea Energy Agency.
LX Hausys explained that the product was recognized for its excellent efforts to contribute to energy reduction through superior solar control performance.
The "solar control advertising film" is a white exterior finishing material that is attached to building exteriors, roofs, and glass to block solar radiation. By applying special pigments, it reflects near-infrared rays and reduces the temperature rise of both the surface and the interior. It is a product that adds a solar control function to standard advertising films, which traditionally focus solely on displaying advertisements. In addition, it has been further improved for excellent ease of installation.
