NAFIS Leadership Program Delegation from the UAE
Visits KakaoBank Pangyo Office, Focusing on Korean Digital Finance
Participants of the UAE NAFIS Leadership Program, a high-level talent development initiative, visited KakaoBank to explore examples of digital financial innovation in Korea.
According to KakaoBank on July 21, more than 30 participants of the NAFIS Leadership Program visited the KakaoBank Pangyo Office in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province the previous day.
The NAFIS Leadership Program is a high-level talent development course operated through collaboration among the Office of the Prime Minister of the UAE, the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (ETCC), and the National University of Singapore.
The visit was attended by NAFIS Leadership Program participants, officials from the Office of the UAE Prime Minister and the ETCC, representatives from UAE financial institutions, and officials from the National University of Singapore.
KakaoBank presented its digital banking innovation cases and customer-centric service design approaches to the delegation, while the visiting group toured the Pangyo Office and participated in a Q&A session regarding user experience (UX) and the planning and development process for technology-driven services at a digital bank.
The delegation showed particular interest in KakaoBank's journey to enhance customer convenience through mobile-centric financial services, as well as its agile organizational culture that enables fast decision-making and execution. Various opinions were also exchanged regarding digital finance, the bank’s distinctive corporate culture, and outstanding UX.
