Hyosung announced on July 21 that it delivered 300 sets of Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) and Sambokjuk (Korean summer porridge) for national veterans to the Seoul Southern Veterans Affairs Office ahead of the hottest period of summer.

A Hyosung representative said, "We prepared these nutritious meals wishing for the elderly national veterans—who can easily be worn out by the heat—to spend a healthy summer."
Since 2016, Hyosung has expressed gratitude and respect by supporting national veterans twice a year with seasonally needed goods. Last winter, for the Dongji (winter solstice), the company delivered sets of red bean porridge and nutritious porridge.
