Samsung Asset Management Publishes Third-Quarter Pension 'THE ACTION BOOK' and Holds Webinar
As volatility increases in domestic and international stock markets, investors are becoming increasingly concerned about managing their pension assets, which are essential for retirement. In this environment, a new guidebook has been published to offer investors strategic directions for pension investments.
On July 21, Samsung Asset Management announced the release of a new volume in its series, "THE ACTION BOOK, Pension Kodex," featuring practical pension investment strategies for the third quarter. To mark the launch, the company will hold a webinar at 6:00 PM on the same day, which will be released through the KODEX YouTube channel.
This latest edition, following the publications for the first and second quarters of this year, is tailored to reflect recent market changes and provides actionable investment plans that investors can implement immediately. It covers not only tax benefits for pensions and outlooks on both the U.S. and domestic stock markets, but also suggests recommended portfolios by age group, actively reflecting recent market volatility. The guide focuses on efficient allocation management and risk assessment. Specifically, it proposes a "growth type" portfolio for individuals in their 20s and 30s with a higher proportion of long-term growth themes; a "balanced type" portfolio that combines growth themes with monthly dividends for those in their 30s and 40s; and an "income realization type" portfolio for people in their 50s and 60s prioritizing stable cash flow.
The upcoming webinar, themed "Swim with Kodex Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs)!", is planned with a summer "SWIM" concept. The event aims to help investors navigate the waves of long-term pension investing without being shaken by changing policies or an unstable market environment. The session will focus on practical content that investors are most curious about, including: the three core principles of pension investing; the current status and strategies regarding the U.S. and domestic stock markets; ETF trading tips; and tailored approaches for different investor scenarios.
Kim Dohyung, Head of ETF Consulting at Samsung Asset Management, commented, "Volatility in the stock market has increased, particularly centering around semiconductor companies, raising concerns among pension investors." He added, "Although there are worries about oversupply, the robust earnings outlook for semiconductor firms supports that the momentum for AI-driven growth remains intact." Kim continued, "We prepared this guidebook and seminar so that investors can successfully swim through waves of volatility together with KODEX ETFs."
