Hanwha Expands KAI Stake to Over 13% with Additional Share Acquisition
Hanwha Group has expanded its stake in Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) to the 13% range by acquiring additional shares.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on July 20, Hanwha Systems purchased 1,135,470 shares of KAI on the open market between July 9 and 16, using approximately 166.6 billion won of its own funds.

As a result, Hanwha Systems' holdings in KAI increased to 2,623,000 shares (a 2.70% stake). Including the existing shares held by Hanwha Aerospace and Hanwha Aerospace USA, Hanwha's total stake in KAI has risen to 13.61% (13,262,470 shares).
