HLB Life Care Collaborates with InBody Healthcare for 'PicoRing' Sales
HLB Life Care, a subsidiary of HLB Global, is collaborating with InBody Healthcare on the sales of the continuous glucose monitor "PicoRing."
According to HLB Life Care on July 20, InBody Healthcare has created a new glucose meter category in the products menu on its website and has begun offering standalone PicoRing products as well as bundles that combine PicoRing with InBody Healthcare devices.
PicoRing is an ultra-compact smart continuous glucose monitor that, once attached, enables users to check their blood glucose changes in real time for up to 15 days without additional blood sampling. It allows users to monitor blood glucose fluctuations during daily activities such as eating, exercising, and sleeping, and utilize this information for lifestyle management.
The two companies plan to expand consumer interactions with PicoRing through a variety of marketing activities, including a mobile shopping live broadcast in August. They will introduce both the standalone PicoRing and bundled products with InBody Healthcare, and will propose specific health management methods for integrating blood glucose monitoring into exercise and weight management routines.
The two companies also plan to promote integration between the newly launched "InBody+" app, designed for InBody Healthcare's H series of home body composition analyzers, and the PicoRing blood glucose monitoring service. Going forward, they will gradually expand data-driven health management services that comprehensively assess the user's health and lifestyle by utilizing accumulated body composition and blood glucose data. HLB Life Care aims to further expand B2B partnerships for PicoRing through this collaboration with InBody Healthcare.
