OSP's New Director Candidate Kim Younggwan Secures 21.85% Stake... Strengthening New Business Initiatives
Premium pet food company OSP is embarking on strengthening responsible management and new business initiatives.
On July 20, OSP announced that the side representing Kim Younggwan, the new candidate for inside director, had secured a total of 21.85% voting rights through an equity disclosure ahead of the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders.
After the extraordinary general meeting scheduled for July 28, OSP plans to diversify its new business portfolio to include bio, defense, artificial intelligence (AI), and energy sectors, in addition to its existing pet food business, and will actively pursue a transformation into a technology platform company.
Recently, Kim acquired a total of 2,228,539 shares of OSP through on-exchange purchases and participation in a third-party paid-in capital increase. The total share acquisition figure combines Kim's personal market purchases as well as the shares obtained by Y2K Partners—a company wholly owned by Kim—through participation in the third-party paid-in capital increase.
