Humantechnology Changes Name to "Agos"... Launches Growth Strategy Centered on Anti-Drone Business
KOSDAQ-listed company Humantechnology has changed its name to Agos and will foster its anti-drone defense business as a core future growth engine.
Agos announced on July 20 that it had completed the registration of its name change on the KOSDAQ market. The stock code remains unchanged.
This name change forms part of the company’s strategy to actively expand its anti-drone business, focusing on drone detection, identification, and neutralization technologies. The company plans to reinforce its competitiveness in related technologies and accelerate its penetration into both domestic and overseas defense markets.
On September 1, Agos also plans to conduct a small-scale merger with its wholly owned subsidiary, Human Agos. Through this, the company expects to further strengthen its business capabilities and competitiveness.
Human Agos is a specialized company that provides integrated anti-drone solutions by connecting in-house developed radio frequency (RF) scanners, smart jammers, spoofers, and related technology for drone detection, tracking, and countermeasures. It holds the top market share in public procurement for airports, power plants, and government offices.
With drones being used as major attack tools in recent international conflicts, particularly in the Middle East, the importance of anti-drone technologies has grown. As drone threats increase at not only military and key national infrastructure, but also airports and power plants, the demand for anti-drone systems capable of detecting and blocking such threats is on the rise.
According to market research firm Fortune Business Insights, the global anti-drone market is projected to grow from USD 10.63 billion (approximately KRW 16 trillion) in 2026 to USD 69.67 billion (approximately KRW 105 trillion) in 2034. The average annual growth rate is expected to reach 26.5%.
In response to these market changes, Agos aims to continuously strengthen its technological competitiveness, upgrade its business portfolio, and secure new growth opportunities not only in the domestic market but also in overseas defense markets.
A company official stated, "This name change demonstrates our commitment to strengthening our defense business centered on anti-drone technologies," adding, "We will continue to boost our corporate competitiveness through next-generation technology development and expansion of our business in response to the rapidly changing global security environment."
